Using your own domain

Serve links from your own domain instead of plugwith.me. Agency and up.

Updated August 20, 2026All guides
  1. Add the domain under Domains.
  2. At your DNS provider, point it at plugwith.me with the record shown there.
  3. Wait for DNS to propagate — usually minutes, occasionally hours. The certificate is issued automatically once it resolves.
  4. Set it as the default, or pick it per link. Existing plugwith.me links keep working either way.

Custom domains are part of the Agency plan. If an account drops below Agency the domain is withdrawn from the links and they fall back to plugwith.me — nothing is deleted, and re-upgrading restores it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a subdomain?

Yes, and it is usually the better choice — links.yourdomain.com leaves the root domain free for your site.

What happens to links already in the wild?

Nothing. The old URL keeps resolving; the domain choice only affects the URL we show you for copying.
