Two fields do the organising, and they answer different questions.
- Creator — whose link this is. Add them under the Creators tab; a creator can also carry a profile image, which is what social platforms show when the link is shared, and a linktree background.
- Platform — where you are going to post the link. It is the traffic source, not the place you sell.
Reddit, X, Instagram, Threads, BlueSky, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Facebook, Discord, Pinterest, Tumblr, WhatsApp, RedGifs, FetLife, Telegram and Snapchat are built in. Anything else can be typed in as a custom platform and becomes a filter of its own as soon as one link uses it.
Spellings are folded onto one canonical name — "X", "x.com" and "Twitter" all file under Twitter / X. That is deliberate: a second spelling would otherwise become a second filter pill, and half your links would hide behind the wrong one.
Naming that stays usable at 300 links
- One creator per person, spelled the same way every time.
- One link per creator per platform.
- Give the link a title when the slug is not self-explanatory. Lists, notifications and the click funnel print the title first and fall back to creator plus platform.
