Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not point a plugwith.me link at. This policy is part of the Terms of Service and applies to every account, free and paid.
Adult content is allowed. Illegal content is not. plugwith.me is built for creators and agencies, and a large share of our customers link to adult platforms. That is fine. What is never fine: anyone under 18, anything without the consent of the people in it, and anything that would be a crime where the link is reachable. Those three rules have no warning step — the link goes down immediately.
1. Scope
This policy covers everything you put into the Service and everything you point it at: slugs, button labels, uploaded images, model and profile names, page text, and above all destination URLs and the content at those destinations, including content that appears there after you created the link.
"You" means the account holder. If you are an agency, you are responsible for what the creators you manage put into your account.
2. Absolute prohibitions
The following result in immediate removal without prior warning, permanent account termination, forfeiture of prepaid fees to the extent legally permissible, and — where the law requires or clearly justifies it — a report to the competent authority.
2.1 Child sexual abuse material and minors
- Any material that depicts, describes or advertises the sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a person under 18, whether real, drawn, animated or artificially generated.
- Any sexualised depiction of a person under 18, or of a person presented as being under 18.
- Links to any platform, channel or account whose purpose is the distribution of such material.
- Grooming, solicitation of minors, or the exchange of contact details for that purpose.
We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the competent authorities and, where applicable, to NCMEC, and preserve the associated account data for them.
2.2 Non-consensual material
- Intimate images or recordings distributed without the consent of every person depicted, including so-called "revenge porn" and leaked or hacked content.
- Sexual deepfakes or other synthetic sexual material depicting a real person who has not consented to it.
- Recordings made covertly, including upskirt, hidden-camera and stolen-device material.
- Depictions of rape, coercion, trafficking or of a person incapable of consenting.
Non-consensual intimate imagery is removed on a fast track — see plugwith.me/report. We do not require the reporter to prove ownership before we act.
2.3 Other absolute prohibitions
- Human trafficking, forced labour, or the sale of a person.
- Bestiality, necrophilia, or depictions of serious real violence presented as sexual content.
- Terrorist content within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2021/784, and content that incites, glorifies or provides instructions for terrorism.
- Content that is criminally punishable under German law, including incitement to hatred (§ 130 StGB), the use of unconstitutional symbols (§ 86a StGB) and Holocaust denial.
- Sale of firearms, explosives, controlled drugs, poisons, stolen goods, forged documents, or human organs.
3. Adult content — the rules that make it acceptable
You may link to lawful adult material. When you do, all of the following must be true, and you warrant them under section 7.3 of the Terms:
- Everyone is 18+. Every person depicted was at least 18 at the time of production, and you can evidence it. Where 18 U.S.C. § 2257 applies to you, you keep the records it requires and name a custodian; we do not hold those records for you and never ask you to send them to us.
- Everyone consented to the production and to the distribution, and has not withdrawn that consent.
- The page carries an age confirmation. Enable the 18+ gate on any link whose destination or preview is sexually explicit. This is a contractual requirement here; note that our gate is a self-declaration, not statutory age verification (see section 3.1).
- No explicit media on our pages. Sexually explicit images, video or thumbnails must live at the destination, not on the plugwith.me page. Avatars and preview images you upload to us must be safe for work. The uploads bucket is public.
- The destination platform allows it. Linking to adult content from a platform whose rules forbid it is your risk, not ours, but repeated platform enforcement against links on our domain is a ground for action under section 6.
3.1 Where real age verification is required
Several jurisdictions now require verified age assurance — not a self-declaration — before a user can access pornographic material. This includes the UK under the Online Safety Act, Germany under the JMStV where a service is directed at German users, France, and a growing number of US states. Our 18+ overlay does not satisfy any of those requirements. If your destination is subject to them, the verification must happen at the destination, or you must geo-block the jurisdictions concerned using the geo-block feature. Configuring that correctly is your responsibility.
4. Prohibited techniques and destinations
4.1 Security and abuse
- Malware, spyware, stalkerware, ransomware, cryptominers or any drive-by download.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, or pages impersonating a login screen, a payment page, a bank, a platform or a public authority.
- Fraud, fake shops, advance-fee scams, romance scams, investment or crypto scams, pyramid and Ponzi schemes.
- Using the Service to probe, scan, overload or interfere with our systems or anyone else's, to circumvent our rate limits, or to test security without our written authorisation. Authorised research is welcome — see plugwith.me/security.
- Automated bulk creation of links, scraping our interface, or reselling raw redirect capacity as a standalone service.
4.2 Deception and impersonation
- Impersonating another person, creator, brand or organisation, including via a slug or model name chosen to be mistaken for theirs.
- Cloaking: showing our systems, a platform's crawler or a reviewer one destination while showing real visitors another. The bot-redirect and geo-block features exist to protect your links from crawlers and to respect territorial restrictions — using them to hide the true destination from a platform's review process is prohibited.
- Affiliate-link manipulation contrary to the terms of the affiliate programme concerned, including cookie stuffing and unauthorised link substitution.
- Misrepresenting a link's destination in a way likely to mislead a reasonable visitor about what they are about to open.
4.3 Unsolicited messaging
- Distributing plugwith.me links by unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or direct message where the recipient has not consented and no other legal basis applies.
- Comment spam, forum spam and automated posting.
4.4 Rights of others
- Linking to content that infringes copyright, trademark, design, database or personality rights, or that discloses a trade secret.
- Using someone's name, likeness or voice for commercial purposes without their permission.
- Publishing another person's private information — address, phone number, identity documents, medical or financial data — without their consent (doxxing).
4.5 Harm to people
- Harassment, threats, stalking, or coordinated targeting of an individual.
- Content promoting suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
- Content that exploits a vulnerable person or that would be classified as harmful to minors under the JMStV without effective access restriction.
5. AI-generated content
Artificial personas and AI-generated imagery are permitted, subject to the rules above. Two points deserve emphasis:
- A synthetic person must not resemble a real person who has not consented, and must never appear to be under 18. Section 2 applies to generated material exactly as it applies to recorded material.
- Disclosure duties are yours. From 2 August 2026, Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act) requires deployers who generate or manipulate image, audio or video content constituting a deepfake to disclose that it is artificially generated. If that applies to your content, disclose it at the destination. plugwith.me does not itself provide or deploy any AI system, so we have no Article 50 duty of our own and cannot discharge yours.
6. Enforcement
6.1 Ladder. Outside the absolute prohibitions in section 2, we act proportionately and in this order: (1) a warning by email with a reasonable period to fix the problem, usually 7 days; (2) deactivation of the individual link or removal of the individual upload; (3) suspension of the account; (4) termination.
6.2 Immediate action. We skip straight to removal where the content falls under section 2, where it is manifestly illegal, where delay would cause serious harm (malware, phishing, active fraud), or where a court or authority orders it.
6.3 You will always be told why. Every restriction of content you provided comes with a statement of reasons under Article 17 of the Digital Services Act: what we restricted, on what factual and legal ground, whether automated means were used, and how to appeal. We send it to your account email address.
6.4 Automated detection. We use simple automated checks — pattern matching on destinations and slugs against known-malicious lists — to flag content for human review. No account is suspended and no appeal is decided by automated means alone.
6.5 Appeal. You have at least six months to contest any decision, free of charge, by emailing info@ponyagcy.com with the subject "Appeal". A human reviews it and answers within 14 days. If we got it wrong, we restore the content and credit any period a paid plan was suspended.
6.6 Repeat misuse. An account that repeatedly provides manifestly illegal content will be suspended after a warning, taking into account the number and gravity of the items and the proportion of legitimate content on the account.
7. Reporting a violation
Anyone can report content on plugwith.me — you do not need an account and you do not need to be affected. Use plugwith.me/report, which is our notice-and-action mechanism under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act and also handles copyright notices and non-consensual imagery. Urgent matters involving a risk to life or a child should also go to the police; we cooperate fully with lawful requests.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as law and abuse patterns change. Material changes are notified as described in section 2.3 of the Terms. The version and effective date at the top of this page always identify the applicable text.
